Skiffle is actually an important piece of what would lead into the Brit Beat bands. With a future Zeppelin guitarist performing here, it's easy to see how it all fits together.
More rad dancing...It's almost surprising to see the band be so eneretic after taking a listen to its recordings. Not that everything that the Dicks did was slow and boring, but just not music that you'd writhe around on the floor to.
Boy, can he dance good. But despite all of the dancing, the Supreme Dicks didn't really do too much in the way of popularizing Boston's music scene. That apparently would be reserved for Mr. Mascis and his rotating pool of players.
